Shin Azumi ( 1965 - )

Shin Azumi was born in Kobe, Japan in 1965. After graduating his studies of product design at the Kyoto City University of Art he finished his master´s degree at the renowned Royal College oF Art in London. Here he founded the Studio Azumi together with Tomoko Azumi in 1995 which earned publicity with small series of furnitures. Shin Azumis designs remain everyday life articles which subtly challange the users with a little "twist" to new behaviour.

Since 2005 Shin Azumi works under the name "A studio" for manufacturers like, among others, Dietiker, Itoki, Lapalma, Magis and Maruni.
